Casa el Girasol is a beautiful, large, quietly located, child-friendly villa for 10 people + a baby near Valencia. Enjoy the beautiful surroundings, the peace and space. The villa has 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms!

Casa el Girasol is 30 minutes by car from the airport, the beach and Valencia city. The villa has access to a large swimming pool completely fenced with a bar. There are also plenty of play options for the children. The facilities: *On the 1st floor of the casa there are 3 spacious bedrooms.

 * Washing machine, fridge / freezer and microwave.
 * Sufficient bed linen and (beach) towels available.
 *Air conditioning in all bedrooms (also heating).
 *Iron and ironing board.
  *WiFi available and television with Netflix.
 *Baby bed with mattress/areo sleep and high chair.
 *Guest house with a bunk bed 2x0.90x2.00m in the vestibule and a spacious bedroom with 2 pers. bed 1.80x2.00m and a bathroom. *Swimming pool 12x4m completely fenced.
 * There is also plenty to do for children. There are scooters, a slide and there is a football table. But there is also no shortage of games and toys.

The casa is located in a rural area among orange and olive trees and has a beautiful view of the surrounding mountains. In the evening you can enjoy the setting sun on the terrace while enjoying a snack and a drink. The casa is especially suitable for families and groups of friends.

The attractive casa has a main building and an outbuilding that can be used as a guesthouse. Through the beautiful large veranda on the ground floor of the main building you enter a large, cozy living room. Under the veranda or on the large terrace on the side of the house you can have breakfast, lunch or dinner, or just relax. There is also a spacious kitchen, a separate spacious dining room, a bathroom, a chill area and a separate room that can also be used as a bedroom. On the first floor there is a bathroom for two spacious bedrooms. The master bedroom with an en suite bathroom is also located there. The spacious landing gives access to the roof terrace from which you can enjoy a beautiful view.

The living room has 2 comfortable sofas and a TV. You can stream to the TV from a tablet or smartphone via Chromecast. There is a wood stove for the colder evenings in the early and late season. The adjacent dining room has a large 10-12 person dining area, for dinner or breakfast if desired. In general, however, the temperatures are so pleasant that dinner or breakfast will usually be enjoyed outside on the terrace.

The spacious kitchen is fully equipped and fully equipped with hob, oven, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine and fridge-freezer combination. A coffee maker, toaster and kettle are of course also available, as well as a vacuum cleaner and an ironing board with iron.

The two main bedrooms are each equipped with very spacious and comfortable double beds of 180x200cm, 1 bedroom with a bed of 160x200cm. The downstairs bedroom has a bed of 140x200cm.

In the outbuilding there is a spacious bedroom with a comfortable double bed of 180x200cm, while in the vestibule there is a bunk bed of 2x90x200cm. Ideal for a family with 2 children who, for whatever reason, would like a little more privacy. There is also a separate bathroom and a covered terrace with an area with BBQ.

All bedrooms have air conditioning and sufficient cupboard and/or drawer space to store your belongings. If desired, a baby bed can also be used.

Furthermore, all bathrooms have a shower or bath, a toilet/bidet, a sink and of course there is also a hairdryer.

The Swimming Pool: In the lower part at the front of the casa there is a beautiful large swimming pool of 12x4m where you can take a lovely cooling dip. There are plenty of sunbeds and parasols and there is a bar with a refrigerator to keep the drinks nice and cold. There is also an outdoor shower and music system where you can stream your favorite music via WiFi with your smartphone so that you can enjoy it during those fun pool days. And of course there are plenty of beach towels available if you wish.

The swimming pool is child-friendly and fully fenced, so it is not directly accessible to small children. The entire location is also fully fenced and accessible via a lockable entrance gate, so you enjoy plenty of privacy. Directly next to the house there is ample parking for your car and/or camper, so that you can park it safely on the closed grounds.

For the children: There is also plenty to do for children in and around Casa el Girasol. In addition to the large swimming pool with a small slide and the toys that go with it, there are various bicycles, scooters, toys, a trampoline, diving rack and a football table. There is even a dart board and various craft supplies and board games can be found in the house.

We are currently working on further furnishing the entire side area with several seating areas and play equipment, giving your children even more play opportunities. In your seat you can enjoy, for example, reading a book or listening to your favorite music while enjoying a snack and a drink, while you are always close by for the little ones.

Casa el Girasol
Casa El Girasol is located in “Palmeral de Montroy”, one of the most beautiful areas in the village of Montroy, a small municipality with about 3000 inhabitants in the province of Valencia.

About Montroy Montroy or Montroi is a traditional rural village, just 30 minutes from Valencia Airport and Valencia city centre. The beach and the beautiful national Park Natural de l'Albufera de Valencia are also just a half-hour drive from the casa. The village is surrounded by rolling fields and hills, including orange, olive and almond orchards and a river, the Rio Magro, that runs past the village. Here you can experience the real authentic Spanish life. Montroy offers good basic facilities such as a butcher, bakery, post office, pharmacy, supermarket, petrol station and several restaurants including a real Italian pizzeria (Il Birbone) and local bar. For a wider choice of facilities and services, Montserrat is just 3 km away. Montroy is also known for its honey production, a wide choice of honey and honey-based products are available in the village. On Mondays there is a small street market. Supermarket 'Supermercados charter' is open 7 days a week. The other supermarkets in Montserrat are closed on Sundays. There are also some interesting cultural sights, including a 16th century church and a Moorish tower from the 13th century when the village was formed, called Torre de Montroy. A 3.5 km walk to Torre de Montroy is definitely worthwhile. At the top of the hill west of Montroy, this corner offers a great view of the beautiful surroundings. A gem to see.

Montserrat In Montserrat there is a street market on Tuesdays in the car park near the center near the roundabout where the lady with the violin stands, and on Sunday mornings there is a larger market and car boot sale. Right next to the Mercadona you will find 'Casa Alicia y Annie', this is a kind of exploded Action with basically everything you can think of, worth a visit and open all day. Opposite the Mercadona you have 'De Panda', this is a similar store to Casa Alicia y Annie but smaller. In Montserrat you will also find a kind of wholesaler for drinks. Soft drinks, beer/wine and spirits can be purchased here and are a lot cheaper than if you buy them in the supermarket. You can find this wholesaler by driving into the street at the roundabout between 'the Panda and the Mercadona'. At the next roundabout you turn right and you will find the shop after +/- 200 meters further on the right.

Restaurants in Montserrat

• Bar & Grill Be Different Montserrat. This restaurant is run by Dutch people. If you fancy a croquette or frikandel, but you can also go to Be Different for other (Dutch) dishes.
• Restaurant Casa Diego is a large restaurant with good cuisine. If you want good quality food for a good price and you find the ambiance less important, this is a great place.
• Restaurant la Picaeta is one of our favorites. Real Spanish food and a pleasant atmosphere.
• Restaurant L'antic Mesó located on a small square. Here you can sit outside. A nice place for lunch but also for dinner. Spanish cuisine.
• Restaurant Pizzería Capritx Italian restaurant where you can dine but also pick up pizzas.

Note: The opening hours of restaurants in Spain are different than we are used to in the Netherlands. People have a hot meal in the afternoon between 2:00 PM and 4:00 PM and in the evening the restaurants open again at 9:00 PM. Some open at 8 p.m. Most restaurants in Valencia center are open all day.

Real In Real you will find Mas Y Mas (Carrer Jaume I, 40i). From the outside it seems like a small shop, but it is a large shop with an extensive fresh fish and meat department. You can actually find everything here. In the same street there is a restaurant called Bar El Cacador, where you can have a delicious breakfast (address: Carrer Jaume I, 66 46194i). We also recommend another delicious restaurant, called El Rebost (Placa del Pais Valencia 7 Real). There is also a bakery where you can get really delicious pastries, Pastelleria Isabel. You can also eat it on the spot and drink a cup of coffee. ​

Transport

Because Casa el Girasol is located in a quiet area with no shops within walking distance, it is easy to have a car during the stay. Shops and restaurants can be found within a 5-minute drive from the casa.
